Im use a black color as bg for status win, and orange as command text, rest is default.. I have the "Pop up win for login msg" ena, then I logon a serv, text editor pops up as normal, the bg in the editor is black and the text black.. So the editor gets the bg color setting for the bg but not the command text color for the text in the editor.. Black and black doesnt go together =]
And why isnt there a compressed flashfxp.exe (without setup). Now I have to install, extract flashfxp.exe, then uninstall.
Thats all.. ;)

The text should appear orange colored. I'm not quite sure why it's not.
Can you please list your windows version and service packs.
FlashFXP v3.0 requires the installer to set several registry settings. Previous versions of FlashFXP set these registry keys on startup but this caused problems on some system configurations, especially if the user isn't an administrator. Plus it's better that these settings are only set one rather than everytime you open FlashFXP.

Im using Windows 2003 server Web edition
I installed FlashFXP v3 (1015), extract the exec, and uninstalled again. But why is it geting the bg color but not text color..?
Extracting the exec is a bad habit, reinstalling to much =]
So its in a diff partition, for safe keeping.
Here is that i have in registry:
[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\FlashFXP]
"objects"="37237"
"dkey"="9164"
[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\FlashFXP\3]
"Install Path"="D:\\somedir\\FXP" //Safe keeping place
"ZAP"="38198"
"DOH"="9527"
"IEHelper Active"=dword:00000001
"url_prompt"=dword:00000001
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\FlashFXP\3]
"Install Path"="D:\\somedir\\FXP" //Safe keeping place
I backed up my flashfxp folder
then i tried install flashfxp again in folder there i have flashfxp normally.
but still black text in the editor, (I have checked the settings after the install its still orange), the editor still gets bg color.
