Dear m8s
I was usin' Morgul application 4 my site 2 site transfer until 2 weex ago when 1 of my friendz recommended me flashfxp. @ da 1 look I falled in love with this very simple use & user friendly program. In da very 1st days of use, It was da best app that I'd ever seen but all of a sudden everythin' changed. @ da same time I had few changes in my system. My Norton Antivirus had been xpired so I needed a nu 1 then I switched 2 McAfee professional also I'd recieved an upd8 message from Zonlab 4 upgradin' my older version 2 ver 4.5. In da meanwhile my ISP went down & it made me 2 change my Internet service after a long time & my fxp nightmare just started. I wasn't able 2 fxp anythin' from/2 anywhere. I was sure 1 of those changes r behind this trouble so I started tryin' 2 figure out which 1. @ d end I checked my IP & considired it has been changed but I still can't make head nor tail of it. I'm afraid it's over my head & I have no clue how 2 solve it. Could any1 gimme an idea what I'm suppose 2 do? Is it my changed IP? I'm gonna b grateful of your guidance.
Regards,
DJ Deaf

If you changed ISPs more than likely your IP address has changed. Please include a copy of your ftp session log.

Dear MidKnight
I'm gonna do it bcos I've recieved Zonealarm ver 5.0 upgrade message, but one question mate: If Flashfxp worked with zonealarm uninstalling, which firewall do you suggest/recommend 2 substitute 4 Zonalarm?

are you sure there fxpable sites
djdeaf

Dear MidKnight
All my mates in our forum/community are able to do FXP except me. It shows Source & Destination servers accept FXP. Another probability, what about my ISP, if they r behind kind of proxy or firewall, it can affect my fxp actionz? I mean, does FXPin' just depend on source/destionation serverz & is independent of client connection parameters/factors?
MxxCon

mainly it's up to servers.
however on the client end some firewalls and routers can mess up fxp transfers.
however you said that you uninstalled zonealarm and you are on dialup connection so neither of those apply to you.
did you try to fxp using that Morgul program?
also can you ask server admin what error they see on their end.

Dear MxxCon
Morgul works in every situation because if it finds out one of your servers isn't FXPable, it tries to download & upload your chosen items in normal method (It means this app DL your chosen stuff in your computer then UL them in your destination because of that it can transfer from http 2 ftp), BTW I have got no problem with Morgul @ this moment. I'm FXPin' some stuff with it right now. & about asking my server admin what they see on the end, I'll do it.

can you post status log from it when fxp works.
this way we can see what it's doing different from flashfxp and reconfigure it so it works.
