Just so that FlashFXP users can avoid hair-pulling in the future:
I was having trouble with using FlashFXP just a while ago, so I started playing around with my software firewall (ZoneAlarm free). If you go into:
Firewall > Advanced
And make sure "Block Internet Zone Servers" is UNchecked, FlashFXP will interact seamlessly with ZoneAlarm. I experienced about 95% "blockage" with FlashFXP when this ZA option was switched on.
