My probelm occured in america online 6.0 on Windows Xp. I believe the probelm is in part on account of a problem with the network adapters aol runs. If this helps you guys with the probelm....

i don't follow you exactly..perhaps you wanted to hit reply instead of new thread?

anyway, are you using WinXP version of aol6? they released version 7 saying it's the only 1 compatible, but they also released version 6 specialy for WinXP. but still, i'd think aol's tcp/ip stack should be standard or they would have huge headacke of users complaing that stuff doesn't work.
