View Full Version : Option to view all of the files in the queue (not directories)

Well now if you download files which are in folders, they appear in the queue as one folder, and you can't see the files you have queued in those directories. This is nagging because the queue remaining time is wrong because it doesn't know the file's size which are in the directories that have been queued.
Any change you'll be able to insert such a feature?

Ewww... Personally I hated bpftp&co for traversing the queued dirs to give the total like that. Leaving it as just folders might be more "daring", but it's much cleaner. The queued folders need not be complete at the time you queue them, while traversing such folders would give you heaps of incompletes. If you worry about the download taking too long, you could use the scheduler to cut it off at a certain time.

hmm.. because of that I'm saying that there should be an option to do so, so it won't be there on default.

Oh, I didn't mean to beat you down. If bigstar gets around to it, I'm sure it could be added, but that's a dangerous path to follow: Adding every tiny feature someone might find usefull soon leads way to bloatware, so every suggestion needs to be carefully considered.

Agreed :)

By generating a queue with just files, there is alot more overhead and in general it would reduce the overall performance of FlashFXP.
I will however consider it for future versions.
