error..?

this error comes up whenever fxp is started...or any other ftp program that is
Exception EconvertError in module FlashFXP.exe at <some memory location> Invalid Argument to data encode"

using xp...but same happened when using 2k:confused:

I assume you are using FlashFXP v1.4 build 800?

Please insure you are not using any cracks or illegal keys. As they will cause FlashFXP to malfunction.

Can you please post the content of your errorlog.txt

am using no cracks....and it's a friend that had this problem....he got the file from this website, installed, and got the error, he gets the same error for any ftp program, be it server or client....I had no idea what in the world was the problem so I posted here in hopes I could get any ftp prog to work for him. . .I am going to ask him for the errorlog thing....but it works fine for me so I don't know what the problem with his is....
