i get (connection refused)&(no route to host) ip maches. does the password&user name need to be entered or can i enter anonymous? ive done them both. please help:confused:

Connection refused: there's something configured (like a ftp server, router or firewall on the server side) that doesn't allow you to connect. Try on another one.
No route to host: there isn't a ftp server running at that address or maybe the computer is suffering for network problems.

thank man ill try that. much more responsive than that MxxCon 4 the second time hes replied to me on two different subjects (NO HELP JUST B.S.) thanks again ill switch puters now

"No route to host" error means litteraly what it sounds like..packets from your puter can't find their way to destination puter.
