transfers failing...

hi, i got a problem concerning both file uploading and downloading via flashfxp. i'm on a dsl connection shared on lan, using win98 (sic!) and wingate as a software router. in order to connect to a server using passive mode i need to unblock all the ports in wingate, but even though i do that, the transfers keep failing after 3-4 minutes. what's the solution? do i need to forward any ports from lan server to my computer? if yes, which ports?

I suspect WinGate has a connection timeout value, once this value has been reached it closes the connection.

no, it's not the case - i changed from 'use standard timeout values' to 'never timeout' and it's the same :/

Hmm then I don't know sorry.. You don't need to forward any ports.

update: sure you were right!

my mistake is that i turned 'never timeout' on 18000-65535 port range, not 3333 (ftp's port in this case). sorry for the mess and huge thanks for help!
