Transfer freezes

transfering rootfs file that is 2.6gb or something...i have transfered it successfully several times before but now it freezes on STOR

Win xp
got a NIC running a crossover cable to xbox
fxp v2.1 b934 i think..

help!!

It is my understanding that XBOX has a 2.4gb file size limit.
