Hi,

When I try to connect I get "Connection timed out"

I never used to get this msg till now.

I use:

V2.1 build 924 NOT registerd.

Running windows XP pro. Not behind a rougter or NAT.

I am running a firewall but I set it to "permit all" to allow it to connect (still no luck)

I am running an anti virus.

Running DSL.

If anyone can help, that would be soooo great. :)

you sure your site is not down and you have correct and up to date login info?

Yeah everything is up to date. I have no idea whats going on or how to fix it.... if anyone can help that would really make my day.

can you ping or traceroute to that host?

Nope,

Even with my firewall disabled I cant connect. :confused:

Its NEVER happend befor, I just re formatted my computer, but everything is back to the way it was.

Some software firewalls can't be disabled, they may have a disable option but it really has no effect.

Ok well I uninstalled my firewall and STILL cannot connect. :rolleyes:

if you still can't traceroute or ping to that host then it's possibly something wrong with that host or something in network connection between you and that host

What do you mean by traceroute?

+ my bittorrent cant connect to anyone to, so I dunno whats going on but they both need to connect to other people, and both wont connect....

you obviously have a PC/internet connection problem. you'll be best to consult with a tech board in those areas
