Yes, I know this topic was discused many times here in the message board.

You said this will be added when rewrite flashfxp.

I just want to know, whether this isn't a good time to implement this big feature ?

As said in the past, UltraFXP has nice multi thread ideas.

I know this would need a big rewrite of the code.
But would be extremely useful.

When will it be implemented or do you have no plans about ?

The rewrite will be discussed following the v2.2 release. The rewrite will be multi-threaded.

So what if other ftp clients support multi-threading?

I like the way FlashFXP works. I have no use of that functionality.

I just want to say that the FlashFXP developing team should keep in mind that not all users want multi-threading.

FlashFXP is a ftp client and not a leech tool. If you want a leech tool get DAP or Reget or something. Don't turn FlashFXP into such a tool...................please :-)

multi-threading will be added to improve functionality and usablity, the overall design and function will not change very much, if any.

As said in the past (with facts), UltraFXP is a FlashFXP rip-off.

Multi threaded would be great, to be able to do things and not stop the ftp command thread, and I like multiple FlashFXP windows rather than a tabbed approach.

If I click on the taskbar button when I have multiple transfers going, I can see the status of all of them, and I have customized the tasbar button captions to display what I want. It's simple but effective.

I believe there is alot of work involved and I think we should be patient.

multi-threads is not leech, it is just a way to well organize your ffxp windows, thinking about the tabbed browser(netcaptor, myie2 etc) vs IE.
