Possible to copy files on FTP?

How can I copy files on a FTP server from one directory to another? I know I can move (a feature in FlashFXP) but how can I COPY files on the same server?

can't.
plain ftp protocol does not have such capability.
when you move files what you actually do is RENAME a file with it's full path.

depending on what type of persmissions you have on this site if yours, but for most, as mxcon said, you can't, but if you have enough permisions, and the server is setup right, then simply fxp from one dir/ to the other/
