Hi,

I can't transfer very small files. On the server they are 0 bytes. I would like to enable the SFV-feature of the server. To do so, I have to transfer the small sfv-files with 122 bytes or 600 bytes first. But the server receives only 0 bytes :(

Auth TLS, secure file transfers
Client: FlashFXP 2.1 Build 924, WinXP prof.
(same problem with v2.2 Beta 937)
Server: BlackMoon FTP-Server v2.7 Build 1691, WinXP prof.

With SSL impl. and RaidenFTP the small files are ok, but then I get corrupted (smaller) files after download

Any hints are welcome.

I'm registered user of FlashFXP.

Bye,
Igor

I tested SSL/TLS on glftpd and serv-u with small files and I was unable to reproduce the problem.

I don't happen to have a external RaidenFTPD or BM FTPD server for testing. RaidenFTPD worked fine running on my local machine.

Hi Bigstar,

that is the answer I've feared :(

First the SSL transfers with RaidenFTP result in incomplete files. That was reproducable by other users. I 've tested UltraFXP and this client doesn't has such problems with SSL transfers.

Then I used BlackMoonFTP, because of RaidenFTP often crashes. That server cannot authenticate with SSL impl, so I choose auth. TSL. I was curious The download works fine with FFXP, no corrupted files. But now I encounter problems with small files (btw, they are smaller than the upload block-size).

Would it be helpful, if I make an account for you on my server ? Then you can test it shortly an see, what I mean.

Maybe the error is server based. But do you know a well working FTP server, with SSL/TLS, stable and fast ?

Bye,
Igor
