hello,

that would be great
more and more ftps use utf8 and it wont display correctly in flashfxp which can be pretty annoying:(
it's definetly a feature that's missing, smartftp and cuteftp support it, but i hate to have to use these

that's all
keep up the good job

um, unless i'm mistaken, by default ftp is sending info as "plain text" (not utf8), and ftp client have to specificly request for info to be sent as utf8
so i'm not sure why would you be having such problems since ffxp doesn't even request utf8

i dont think so...
the files are stored on the server with utf8.... so basicaly when i try to download some chars wont go through and it will answer "file not found" not to consider that i cant read the filenames:/

I haven't had any spare time to look into UTF8 support sorry

which ftp server software is this? I thought FTP servers were supposed to advertise UTF8 support in their FEAT reply...

hum, i didnt know server had to answer about utf8.... but anyway even with that servuftp server not specificaly supporting utf8, it works with smartftp, utf8 being just a specific way to display chars~~~~
