Faster Launching/Opening Session

I was wondering if there was any options i can disable to make Flashfxp launch faster...it takes me about 3-4 seconds just to open 1

and no its not my PC thats slow....
i used ffxp on a 2,2ghz and a 500mhz and ffxp launch same amount of time

i really dont know how to make it faster...sometimes when i want to open 4-5 sessions at once it takes about 10 second for the 1st one to load

if this is a problem to many users...id like to suggest faster launching
other than that ffxp owns :D

It takes around 3-4 seconds to start here, but I think it's due to FlashFXP loading all configuration files.

Which version of FlashFXP are you using?

If you try to open many instances at once it may take longer than if you were to open each one, one at a time. this is because each data file is locked to prevent corruption and another instance can't read the file while it's being locked.

I'm currently using FlashFXP beta 2.2 build 935 (dev build).
But as far as I can remember, it has always been like that.

I am using it on a 1.7ghz cpu with 1gb of ddr ram and starting one instance at a time.

well bigstar...if you could find a way to load up ffxp faster it would be nice

i've just read so many treads on this forum about the same issue
i think this should be in your to do list :P
