Greetings:

I'm using FXP 2.1 (Build 924) Windows 98

I have been using this for about a year now and have not experienced any problems until today.

I have two sites. The first site, FXP works excellent

The second site is new. I prefer to publish using frontpage, however, my new ISP does not provide the FP extensions so I have to FTP.

So when I attempt to add a site to my FXP Site Manager, and it connects I get a "Data Socket Error: Connection timed out - List Error

Thanks for any help you can provide.

"FXP" and "FlashFXP" are 2 very different thigns.
to avoid confusion when you are talking about FlashFXP, please say so.

in site manager enable PASV mode

Thank you and sorry about the FXP thing.

OK, I went into my site manager (options). I checked the Uploading (PASV) box and clicked "apply". I receive the same message when it attempts to connect.

no, it's on Options tab, not Advanced tab :)
"Use Passive mode"

it is enabeled... Still get the same message.

ok, to further troubleshoot this problem, please provide info from this thread http://forum.flashfxp.com/showthread.php?s=&threadid=3078
and ftp status log when this error happen
