NEWBIE Please help

I have a question about flashfxp. First i would like to know when you connect to someones server can that person search in your computer like you can search in their computer or in order for them to search in your computer they have to connect to your computer as well. I really am not knowledgeable about flashfxp thats why i am here trying to learn more . my next question is can you set up your site or ftp so that the person only has access to the files you want them to have access too. If so how can you do so. FlashFXP is NOT a P2P program like Kazaa, etc. It is a client only application. In order to "share" files, you would have to install/configure a seperate FTP server....something like ioftpd, serv-u, etc. I wish we could help, but most of your questions are really geared toward the "server" part. FlashFXP in no way allows someone to see your files...its impossible. FTP is a client server protocol, not a peer to peer.
