View Full Version : Command 2 site connecting isn't efficient

When I connect to two sites at once, using a command line shortcut: flashfxp.exe SITE1;SITE2

flashfxp will take a little time to open, connect to SITE1, then connect to SITE2

it would be much more efficient if the instant flashfxp were initialized it was connecting to both the first site and the second site simultaneously.

I'm not sure if there are design limitations that prevent this from happening, but it would be nice if flashfxp were faster to connect.

yes, this requires FlashFXP to be multi-threaded...search for topics on that and you'll find many answers.

even without being multi threaded there might be some way to kind of 'cheat'

for example, start the login process on the first site but switch a little way through and start the login process on the second site.

flashfxp already does this. if connecting site is stalled, flashfxp will jump to other site, look at your status log and you'll see it happening.
