I/we at www.tidesofwar.net has just replaced our FTPd with sFTPd
FlashFXP wont connect to it, what am I doing wrong?
When I check any SSL box in the site manager->ssl I get the following:
[17:26:10] Connecting to Sitename
[17:26:10] Connected to Sitename -> IP=*.*.*.* PORT=22
[17:26:11] SSH-2.0-OpenSSH_3.4p1
[17:28:11] Connection failed (Connection lost)
if I press QUIT before it times out I get:
[17:29:11] Connecting to Sitename
[17:29:11] Connected to Sitename -> IP=*.*.*.* PORT=22
[17:29:11] SSH-2.0-OpenSSH_3.4p1
[17:29:31] QUIT
[17:29:32] Protocol mismatch.
[17:29:32] Connection failed (Connection lost)

Does FFXP not support SSH2?
Is it a server misconfiguration, tho I doubt that since it works with the open source WinSCP client.

Any help is much appreciated as I dont want to replace FFXP :)
If Devs needs a test account, then that can be setup aswell, just hurry and help me :D

sFTP is a whole new protocol, due to the way FlashFXP was designed we can't simply plug in support for sFTP. More than likely it will require a full if not major rewrite of FlashFXP to add support. It would probably be easier for us to create a seperate product for sFTP.

At this time we are still researching sFTP and have not fully commited to supporting it. Many people would like to see sFTP support added and we'll what we can to see that happen.

This is a great idea. Hope you will use time and really rewrite the program. sftp is almost built into Linux these days (OpenSSH), so why not try and make the program support it?

And when you're on it, why not make another version for Linux? For what I know there's only one good GUI program for linux, IglooFTP Pro, which also is for Windows.

You prolly want to beat them. As their Single-User price is higher then yours, FlashFXP is better looking, easier to use and so on. ;)

Edit: Typos.
