If i dont remember wrong I think someone posted this before, but i cant find that post.

This is rather annying and has happened to me many times.

When you connect to a site, and while its connecting you press f6 to open preferences (you can also go to the menu and open preferences), and when it has connected flashfxp freezes.

the only way to unfreeze it then is to minimize it to tray and double click again.

im using winxp pro and flashfxp v2.1 b924

hope you get this fixed soon.

ive played around a bit now, and discovered when i use the .ini file I have now, it locks

but if I use the default .ini that is being made when you install flashfxp it doesnt freeze.

so it has to be some settings that doesnt work good with eachother. here is my .ini file, hope its okey to post it here.

ive also tried to set same settings with a fresh .ini file but it also freezes.

Best email would be support@flashfxp.com

Maybe include a brief version as well or a link to this thread.

okey now i know the problem, tried each setting.
the problem is that when you have "activate flashfxp on connect" it brings FFXP to front, and the preference menu goes behind it, thats why it freeze.

hope you can solve this asap.

I believe I have isolated the problem.

I'll be publishing a public beta release in a week or two here on the message board. (This release will contain other changes/fixes as well)

Isn't this problem caused by having the "Activate FlashFXP on connect" option enabled? Since that was bringing FlashFXP into the foreground while the options were still open.

Yes it is
