just one single error message is not enough to figure out what's
wrong.
we need to see more complete status log

thats all it gives me i can run it through the modem DIRECT but not with the firewall (don't ask) what happens is i connect anno. to an ftp site and it tries to load the directory but fails to.
also the build - i loaded the update last night (wed july 30'st)
it told me there was an update avail. and i went and got it.
any ideas? this is crazy (i can log on to my cox site with no problem it requires username/password + the problem came form a server with the GUILD FTP program)
i'm running XP V1 with the latest patches etc.
it has to be my router acting up.

like i said earlier, we need to see more complete status log
one single error message is useless w/o seeing what caused it.

By providing more from the log we can get a better understanding as to what the problem might be.
For example from the log we can determine if you are using passive mode or not. This wasn't stated and it's key in determining the problem.
