With a certain ftp site (upload.ntlworld.com if you want to know), I can connect by clicking the lightning button and selecting it from the the list that drops down, but if I disconnect and then use the reconnect option from the same menu it says could not resolve upload.ntlworld.com. Actually the same thing happens when trying to connect from the Site Manager.

If I replace the ftp site with an IP address it seems to work fine, but I'd rather use the ftp name incase the IP changes.

Anyone else uploading to ntlworld getting this problem?

I'm using version 2.1.924, Windows XP and a linksys broadband router.

it seems like dns issues...
try this
start, run, cmd, "nslookup upload.ntlworld.com"
try to run this command a few times..especially when you are having that problem in flashfxp.
if you can not consistently resolve that site perhaps you should contact your isp or maybe look into using different dns server..

Hmm that must be it. Nslookup does timeout sometimes. It's strange though how when selecting my site from the menu that it always works and when using the Reconnect (or when it automatically tries to reconnect) it never works....

How would I go about changing my DNS server? I currently have it detected automatically.

i don't know your isp or how it's setup..
your best bet it to contact your isp and report this problem to them and see if they can offer you some solution.
