Help! Connection Timed Out

I am having trouble connecting to an ftp site with a port other than 21. I am running on Windows 2000 with version 2.1 build 924. I am using a LinkSys router and think that this may be the problem. What should I do? Any suggestions will be appreciated.:)

are you completly not able to connect? you can't get dir list? file transfer? what?
unless you paste status log from flashfxp it's impossible to help you.

I get the message:
Connection failed (Connection timed out)
Delaying for 21 seconds before reconnect attempt #1

make sure ftp server is indeed up and running and your firewall doesn't block flashfxp's connection.
can you connect to that site with any other applictaion, such as your browser?
