Help with ident

Get this error when trying to connect:

Ident Server: Unable to listen on port 113


Ident is enabled. Ive tried allowing these ports in ZA, etc. but no go.

Any help would be appreciated. TIA.

are you registred/unregistred/pirated user or flashfxp?
upgrade flashfxp to latest build. 901 is very old and unsupported.

you'll get "Unable to listen on port 113" if another application is handling ident requests, such as Mirc..

Thanks for the response. I do have mIRC installed as well. How do I make FlasFxp handle ident requests? Again, help is appreciated. TIA

in mirc config either totally disable ident server or enable only when connecting.

Thx. How do I change the port flashfxp uses for ident? Is it possible? I think this might work. TIA.

no. ident MUST run on port 113

Its a small Ident server tha will handle all Ident requests on your computer.
Unpack to a folder. Add the exe to autostart. Run the program. Right click on it to enter your values. Turn of ident in both mirc and flashfxp.
Works flawless for me and have done so for +1 year now.
There are ofcourse other Ident servers like this but this one is small and does the job.
