View Full Version : Automate some FlashFXP Actions
Hi,
I've been trying to setup FlashFXP to automatically connect to a site do some "site" RAW commands and then close FlashFXP.
Is this possible? I have tried this command: "C:\Program Files\FlashFXP\FlashFXP.exe" -c[2] C:\Progra~1\Batch\TCF.fqf
Then TCF.fqf has:
Sites\ABC
site blah blah
But this doesn't even connect now. I've looked at other .fqf files, and they have lots of and werid spacing, but can these files be made manually?
I have FlashFXP 1.4.3, Windows 2000 SP3.
Please help if you can.
Many Thanks :)

i can't really answer your question here, but you possible could get a better answer by using the latest version of flashfxp. yours is very out-dated now

1) new flashfxp queue format changed to be more "human readable", and easier to manually create queue files, so consider upgrading to latest available version
2) flashfxp queue file can not contain custom commands.
only files.
Ok, well I've just downloaded and installed the latest version. It looks much nicer :)
So now I have this, can you show me how to script the queue files easier? Or can I use startup parameters to do something like this?

It's not possible to send raw commands via the queue or the command line.
Ok, Thanks for the help.
Pity, would be nice to be able to write scripts/queue files to automate FTP actions. Would this be possible for a future version?
Would also be nice to improve the scheduling option too.
I've been trying to make a queue file to do the following:
FXP any directories in site 1 /data/ to site 2, then to site 3, then to site 4, then to site 5, etc. The directories in /data/ could be called anything. Is this possible?
BTW, if I purchase it, will I get free upgrades for the future? Or would I have to pay for every new version?
Sorry for all the questions :D
Cheers ;)
