AUTH SSL vs. OpenBSD/Debian ftpd-ssl

Has anyone of you succeeded in connecting over AUTH SSL
to an OpenBSD or Debian ftpd-ssl server?

the connection fails with the following message in the log:

421 ftpd: SSL_accept error:00000000:lib(0):func(0):reason(0): Success.

Obviously there is something wrong here...

what's your build of flashfxp?
what build of ssl dlls are you using?
what's version of ftpd you are having problems with?
