the newest build doesn't show the proxy info anymore when connecting. Is there a way that can display the info again?

Now
===
WinSock 2.0
Connecting to 1.1.1.1 via Proxy

WinSock 2.0
Connecting to 1.1.1.1 via Proxy
Connected to Proxy 2.2.2.2 Port 1813

Connecting to 1.1.1.1 f via Proxy

I would like to see what proxy I am connecting to, cos sometimes I use different proxy on different ftp, and without it displaying in the transfer window, I would have to go to preference to dig it up.... so troublesome.

Please add back the proxy info!!!

Thanks

It doesnt help your cause if you post the same thread in different sections.

I have merged your thread from suggestions back into general.

What build of FlashFXP are you running ?

This line has been removed, I don't expect it to return.

why not? it is just a line of info that will help alot when using socks.

for example, when connecting via socks if the line says connected to proxy and not to ftp, i would then know the socks work and not the ftp.

Without the line, i have to try connecting it without socks first to make sure the ftp is working, and then use socks to connect again....

Other ftp programs most show this info, ie smartftp/flashget etc... I am sure people who use socks would love this feature.

I am behind university proxy and I have to depend on socks to connect non-standard ports.

I would reallly appreciate if you would re-consider adding it back!

Thanks!
