ok recently i have been billed for my internet cable services and it was beyond 200...due to the fact i have passed my monthly quota of 4 gigs/month and i havent download anything but FXP

i've been wondering if listing in directories and login in FTP makes you download and use your download bandwith.

cause when i look at it it shows me i am sorta

like when i browse in directories it shows me in my status window

List Complete: 1 KB in 0.65 (1.24 KBps)

List Complete: 9 KB in 0.79 (9.29 KBps)

etc.....

does that mean im actually downloading something?

You are aware that FXPing TO YOU is the same as downloading, right?

You're using wrong isp.. :) I'd never even consider one that has 4gb/month limit.. (unless they charge ~1$/extra gig)
