In the options for each site, it would be nice to be able to set which ident should be sent.

Since it allready supports ident why not implement it per site :) not globaly. Its sent on connect anyway.

This has been suggested in the past, and I guess its not such a bad idea. Obviously this would only be possible with the option of 'ident only on connect' enabled.

However I am not sure how hard this would be to implement. The development team would need to check this out.

any news on this feature ? would love to see it...

or any1 know another ident server who replies with different idents according to the ip from which came the request?
