making directories and the new folder box

Is it an idea to expand on the new-folder-box sometime?
If not in ftp-browser-view, maybe it could be possible in local-browser-view?
There used to be a program that made new folders with subfolders and stored the tree, so you could get them quick again.
It's author has moved on into oblivion and the thing is roadkill now. :rolleyes:

I am for improvements where they make things easier
and the program better and take it you make folders

adding usless features just for the hell of it is not going to happen.
state the reason why you want such feature added, and it's feasible it'll be considered.

The suggestion was that the present make-new-folder-box can be improved upon. (reason1)
The example shows a make-new-folder-box that stores a folder-tree.
I would use a template with saved tree(s). (reason2)
If you find the example too elaborate, than folders and subfolders can be limited.
If you don't want it, forget it. :D

Would it be useful to make more than one folder with subfolder(s) and save the tree that can be looked at and uploaded again at one point later, without making each folder individually again.
If no, you're done with the idea like this.
Maybe you are hung up on a certain view because of the example-program.
It's not hard to make a maze, since there is no need to change it ever.

Let me therefore bubble up an additional thought and call it project-queues. Feel free to move it separately.

The queue-files are attached to a particular server. Is it a worthwhile idea to let dropped files from several sources Queue, let's say in the closed ftp-browser-view, and save that queue as a project-queue without assigned server?
If you want to transfer a certain package at a later point to a friends server, or one of your own, then it would be enough to load that project-queue before or after connecting. :rolleyes:

Well, I think it would be a good feature and NOT only to make pub mazes (as you say it).

I work on websites a lot and I have a certain way I want to set up directories on a webserver. If I could save the default directory tree, that would save me a lot of time.

BTW. FlashFXP didn't go this big because it is SOOO easy to upload files to your webserver... ;) Think about it.

Perhaps I don't fully understand what your asking but can't this be done via a custom command?
