When connecting to a SSL FTP server (in this case Bullet Proof version 2.2.1, wrapped in Secure FTP Wrapper 2.5.4) I have found a possible bug in FlashFXP. The bug appears only when connecting to the secure ftp server, using Implicit SSL.

The problem is simply that directory contents on the remote site is not displayed. I can log in fine, the LIST command goes without trouble (using PORT by the way). But all that appears in the contents is ".. Parent directory". When I try to upload a file that exists on the server I am asked if I want to overwrite etc, so FlashFXP is aware of the directory contents, but is not displaying them.

I assume this is a bug since SSL support was just added to FlashFXP?

Well not exactly, FlashFXP issues the SIZE command to the ftp server to determine if the file exists.

Have you tried other TLS/SSL ftp clients and if so do they work with this configuration?

Ah, thanks for correcting me there (on the SIZE) thing.

I have no problems connecting with other clients (SmartFTP, FTP Voyager, Secure FTP Client). FlashFXP works fine if I disable SSL.

Any ideas?

It might be a compatiblity issue with this type of configuration, would it be possible to make me a test account so that I can look into this further?
