Ok, so here's the deal.. FXP has been working wonderful for me and I've installed the latest version and all that but all of a sudden it wont let me connect to anything..
I don't have a firewall
I've disabled the XP firewall
I don't have Zone Alarm or anything similar
Everything was working fine yesterday.. can someone help me please?

does everything else seem to work, etc web browser, mail?
What version/build of FlashFXP are you using?
try connecting to ftp.microsoft.com?

have you tried to use another FTP client to see what happens?
Leonie Hines
02-19-2003, 09:35 PM
Nope, but I've tried using my browser as well to get into the ftps but I can't do that either

then in that case, its not a FlashFXP problem at all, but a configuration problem else where.
FTP that u have tried so far, are they all using the same port number, or some are differant that u have tried to connect too?

Most of them are different port numbers but the ones I'm trying to get into are all the same
I figured it's not flashxp's problem.. just wanting to know what on earth it is

have you made any system changes to your system before this happened?
is your modem connected straight to your machine, any network involved
Leonie Hines
02-19-2003, 09:50 PM
Nope.. no systems changes at all and yes, the modem is connected to me

Just to cover bases I reinstalled it and it's still giving me issues.. can someone please help?
MidKnight

yeah i wouldn't have bothered with a reinstall as its not a flashfxp problem, seeing you said you tried using your browser with the same problem.
Are you sure you have no type of firewall running?
