I have G6 (2.0) setup behind a PIX 515 (6.2.2) I can ftp to / from this location by normal means but users with FlashFXP are having problems.

Here is a G6 Log
(000010) 2/16/2003 9:58:08 PM - kashani (67.9.44.42) > 150 Opening data connection for jgt-pixa.sfv.
(000010) 2/16/2003 9:58:10 PM - kashani (67.9.44.42) > 425 Cannot open data connection (10061).
(000010) 2/16/2003 9:58:18 PM - kashani (67.9.44.42) > PORT 67,9,44,42,9,99
(000010) 2/16/2003 9:58:18 PM - kashani (67.9.44.42) > 200 Port command successful.

Any ideas of what I may need to change to make this work. I have had problems with FXP in the past with WuFTPD but I thought G6 was FXP compatible, pretty sure it is. Perhaps it's an issue with NAT? But I would think many people would run into that. If anyone has any ideas please share.

Thanks in advance,
Ryan

is this FTP'ing or FXP'ing, and what version/build of FlashFXP are your users using?

FTP works fine, it's when people try to transfer from a remote site to me via FXP that a problem arises.

I'm not sure on the version, I would assume the latest.

you might want to update G6 to bpftpd. it fixes a few security issues among other things.
tell those people who are having problem fxping to enale/disable "alternative fxp" option in flashfxp

iv got a similar problem but the user can create dirs, just cant send over files

he has the latest flashFXP and has switched the alternate mode, I have port forwarded 21 and 20 on the router- ppl can access my ftp from the net np and send over files

I even enabled DMZ so that everything is forwarded to my comp

router / ADSL modem = billion

just want to know how to solve this problem
heres an FTP log:

your ftp log contains blatant warez which we here DO NOT WANT.
and what you pasted was useless. it doesn't show any file transfers errors.
beside forwarding 20 and 21 you also need to forward data connection ports in order for fxp transfers to work.
read http://slacksite.com/other/ftp.html for detailed explanation why.
