I'm sure this must sound odd, but... here it comes.
I'm using 2.0 build 908: I do a LOT of uploads for folks and many of them require overwriting existing files. Up until a month ago (roughly), this wasn't a problem - it overwrote the file with no problem.
Now, it goes through the process of uploading/overwriting the file, but it doesn't actually overwrite it. If I reupload a file that I just uploaded - you can clearly see the file size difference.
I'm baffled. At first I thougt perhaps it was a server issue - but I've been on 13 different servers today - all with the same results.
Anyone have an idea of what is happening?
