would it be possible to have a local variable where the path is stored, and do a list /path, instead of using : cwd /dir, then list -al
i search in ffxp but didn't find this option, so if it exists already, let me know :)

came to ask the same thing
in cuteftp pro this option is called " Use absolute paths for the LIST command" and once enbaled it sends "LIST /path" instead of "CWD /path" when you move to another folder
