Kernel32 crashes - Invalid Page Fault

Hi,

I'm using the latest FlashFXP version (registered) and it was working well for a few weeks...then with for no reason I'm getting a Kernel32 error (see below) every few minutes while
downloading a file...even with nothing else running. The systemm is running W98SE:

Any suggestions would be apprciated. The Windump is:

Hmmm. I really don't know what could of caused this problem. since the error wasn't caught by FlashFXP there's really no way to debug it.. Perhaps something you installed is conflicting with FlashFXP.

I am having the same problem :(
Also using Win98SE.

I haven't recently made any significant changes to my system. It just started happening one day.

This seems to happen to me at any random activity in FlashFXP. However, if I leave all of the settings alone for a while, it seems to happen less frequently or not at all.

Hmm...

I'd really like to get to the bottom of this. It's getting really annoying (especially when FTP is a crucial part of my job).

Have you ever had any other reports of problems like this? I've searched the forums and haven't found much.

I've been unsucessful in reproducing the problem under Windows 98, It might be an conflict with a program/driver that was installed.

I did a google search for "017f:bff7a125" and alot of matches came up, I didn't find any exact answers though.

Maybe reinstall windows? :(

Erk! That sounds like a little overkill (kinda like using a sledge hammer to build a bird house ;))

I'd like to try and avoid that. Reinstalling Windows would also mean I just wasted 30 bucks seeing as I just renewed my AntiVirus subscription.

I tried gooogle, and came up with two possible causes; problem with fonts or invalid parameter to wait function MsgWaitForMultipleObjects/MsgWaitForMultipleObjectsEx.

Hey dark0n3, Thanks for trying to help.

I looked into those two API calls and there's only one part of Borland VCL code that uses them. I wouldn't think that to be a problem. Otherwise all Borland applications would fail.

epp_b do you have sound events enabled? You might try disabling them and see if that makes any difference.

Yes, I do use event sounds. I'll try disabling them and see what happens.
