Well , I can see this topic has been in discussion a few times around here.

I will try also my version.

Until a few weeks ago I was using FlashFXP 1.4 Build 800 on Windows 2000 Pro.
I had a HDD crush and I re-installed.

I use now the same Windows 2000 Pro and FlashFXP 2.0 Build 906.

I had no problem until now. After re-install I began to have more and more corrupted files (RAR and ZIP).

I try to download them again and sometimes it works sometimes the files are still corrupted. I copied the files on the server running Windows .Net Advanced server and tried to unpack them there but still the same files are corrupted. So it must be the FTP client , FlashFXP.

If I use CuteFtp no problem everything works ok.

Do you know something about my problem ?

I have a DSL connection that goes trough a Cisco 677 and a Surecom EP 4504AX Cable/DSL Gateway.

Thank you in advance.

And by the way , have a friend that has the same problem in Windows XP.

make sure you are using FlashFXP downloaded from this website. make sure you don't use any cracks, hacks, loaders or other things that mess around with FlashFXP. you just never know what will happen if you use modified flashfxp.

yep, that sounds like a cracked copy of flashfxp to me

It would help if you included a copy of the status log. If you're using smart mode handling. Not all ftp servers support it and it can sometimes cause corruption.

Options > Preferences > Transfer Tab > uncheck Smart Mode Handling

Well ,first of all, I am not using a cracked version.
And MidKnight don't acuse people if you are not sure of something. Get the facts and then acuse me.

I am using a version I have downloaded from FlashFXP.com and I am in the day 10 of evaluation.

Thank you for the advice bigstar , I will try and let you know. I'll also make a log file for the transfer.

So far , thank you for the help.

not accussing you, but thats one problem i see often with cracked versions.

now you say you reinstall w2k, was this a full format of the HDD? and everything including flashfxp was a fresh install?
