I am on cable. I have 1.5mb downstream and 128kb upstream. The problem Im having is that my upload speed maxs out at 15k. I have been to http://www.pcpitstop.com and below is my speed tests:

Download Bandwidth Test Results
Text Block Size 500 KB

Download Time 1912 ms
Receive Buffer Default
Transmission Speed 2092 Kb/s

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Upload Bandwidth Test Results
Upload Speed 131 Kb/s

You see I have no problems. But using FXP I want to know why it maxs at 15k. Can anyone suggest anything? BTW, I use Sygate firewall, but I am NOT using a firewall at the time of the tests nor using FXP.

Upload Speed 131 Kb/s
these numbers are in kiloBIT.
flashfxp shows number in kiloBYTE.
(kiloBIT/sec)/8=kiloBYTE/sec
you said it yourself, your upload is only 128kbit, which is about 15kilobyte/sec.

and in the future when you talk about FlashFXP do say so, becuase "FXP" and "FlahsFXP" are 2 completely different things.

Sorry about the FXP thingy. FlashFXP is what Im meaning. Anyway, its 15KBps..

Transferred 1 file totaling 976 KB in 01:05 (15.02 KBps)

Thats max. And I have 128KB upstream. Maybe this will be more informative. Also, if this works, heres an image of the transfer.

As MxxCon explained, that 15KB is your max upload on a 128k upstream ,just like your download on a 1.5 (1500k) would be around 162'ish KB
