Hi there...

Ive an problem with my flashfxp :-(
I can connect to my brothers pc on lan,....
can play games online like Counter Strike.. or diablo II.....
can surf the internet, no problems there I think...
now... when I want to connect to a pub, i type in the ip... in the moment I'll click connect, the error comes: Connection Failed ............... 120 sec.........................

now whats going on?

Im having an ELSA LANCOM DSL/10 Office Router..

what build of flashfxp are you using?
you sure that ftp server you trying to connect to is up?

im using version: 1.4 (build 800)

the server is 100 % upp, because my brother can connect to the pub without problems..

try some other ftp servers, like ftp.cdrom.com or ftp.uu.net

the error comes:

Please don't spam. Also, try upgrading to the latest version of FlashFXP, 1.4b800 is rather old.

Yes, what are you doing with this old FlashFXP version (1.4 - build 800) ?¿?¿?¿, upgrade to latest version and check if you have the same problem.

My guess is his brother is running a proxy for his computer that isn't configured for ftp.

can you connect to an ftp with your browser or windows command line ftp client?

mmm this is interesting. before i get too involved here.

1) are you using a legal copy of FlashFXP?
2) because i find this thread interesting, i may consider helping you a little further if your connected to ICQ

i do not know, you dont give us much details to work from, your the one at your computer, not us.
