hi

would be great if you could introduce some bindings, like to bind favourite ftps on F1 or F2 and so on or other signs.

an option to skip ascii paintings would also be nice.

thx in advance

some ftps have ascii paintings in their welcome msg and that takes quite long to login on. so a possibility to skip it like in pftp would be great

I would love to have the feature Raul is talking about.

My connection and location make logging into certain FTPs very long because of site messages (not necessarily ASCII, but those are also site messages)... you can ignore site messages i pftp as raul said and Staff-FTP too, so it should be easy to implent :)

i don't see how that's possible.
when you connect to an ftp, server automaticaly send you pre/post login welcome message.
it's not a command that you send..
St*ff-FTP can just hide it, but not skip it.

(and please, never say "should be easy to implent" unless you have the source code)

This depends entirely on the ftp server.

What you need to do is prefix your ftp password with a dash (-)

Here's a status msg I captured from a ftp server.

230-If your FTP client crashes or hangs shortly after login, please try
230-using a dash (-) as the first character of your password. This
230-will turn off the informational messages that may be confusing your
230-FTP client.
