Masking File Transfer Names

hey guys

Using Flashfxp v.2.0 i was wondering if it was possible to mask, or hide the names of the files transfered from the ftp site that i visit.

simply because i don't want the Admins on my network to see the names of files that i transfer.

I allready use a firewall tunnel programme to get access to various FTPs.

does anyone know if this is possible when i dont have renaming rights at the FTP site???

Mmmm never thought of that, can you recommend a particular encryption, how do i implement it to work with FlashFxp V2.0
Does it have to be integrated into the programme or does it just run generally under windows, i use Win98 SE.

FlashFXP 2.0 has native support for SSL encryption.
servers you are connecting to will need to be configured to support SSL.
once server and flashfxp are configured you session will be 99% sniff proof :) they will just see that you estabilshed a connection and that's it..rest will be encrypted garbage.

One quick question tho, can i configure the server i'm connecting to or does the server owner have to do it, or is it something that is automatically built in.

I will have a look also how to set up FlashFxp to do this, thanx again.
