OK - Im using a trial version of FlashFXP build 901 and I must admit it is an excellent FTP client. The problem I have is tho that when I connect to a site after viewing a few directories the client time's out. Then when it tries to reconnect I get the timed out error a few times then it connects. I have used earlier versions of FlashFXP and had no problems. Just seems to be a bug in the new version 2's.
The same thing also happens during downloads where the speed will drop from 100k/s to 0 then time out :(

My os is XP and I'm running Sygate Firewall Pro.

It looks like either the ftp server went down or the connection between you and the ftp server was broken.

You can rest asured that the problem is not FlashFXP, or everyone would be encountering the same problem. this does not appear to be the case.

Thats what I thought initially but it happens on every single site that I download from using FlashFXP. When I use LeechFTP the problem doesnt occur.
