I don't know if its a flashfxp bug or because of
Windows XP SP1. But everytime I send Flashfxp to the
tray (I've tried the newest version, and old ones) it will
disappear all together. Its still open cause I can see it in
task manager.. but I can never recover it.

This has been mentioned several times in the past, you might try searching.. There seems to be a problem with windows XP as this happens with other applications as well.

At the moment there is no known fix.

that problem is so annoying! the problem i have is sort of different, when put flashfxp to the tray it works fine but oftenly it would disappear. I can confirm that bigstar is right it's not just flashfxp, i have the same problem with mIRC too! so i try not to minimize it to the task tray.

The problem is, when MS bought in this new technology to make icons dissapear when not needed they forgot to tell developers how to label/identify their software... which has made it impossible for XP to identify and remember correctly which icons should be displayed & which shouldnt..

I know that sounds complicated, but if your using XP you will know what I mean..

Try going into properties for taskbar and disable hide inactive icons, and see if FlashFXP icon disappears or not. This should
solve the missing icon, I did this and fxp icon has not disappeared on me yet. ( knock knock on wood.)
