Getting desperate/No Folders visible

Ok so i have tried messing with the Passive/Active commands as well as Show hidden files. But i still can't see and folders even though Flash (2.0) connects no problem and says transfer complete.

But i can't see any folders, on sites that i know have them as i have been there before.

I'm using a Firewall tunnel to access via Socks4, which does work cos this was all working until last week.

Does anyone know what has happened, the Http-tunnel is working OK as i use it for mIRC also.

Well we can start with the standard questions..

What build ?

What OS ?

What FTP server are you connecting to / using ?

What is the firewall ? software ? hardware ?

Obviously anything else you can think of..

As far as im aware, we have not changed anything in FlashFXP and quoting the great words of so many, no nothing, tech support people, "It may be something at your end" :)

Firewall is Hardware (i think) central University one, so i use Http-tunnel via Socks4/5 to get through it as most Ports other than 21 are blocked.

I can connect no problem to any ports via the tunnel, and it will say transfer complete, it sometimes even tells me how many folders and what size, but it won't display them in the window, i just get the 'Working' mouse icon permanently. If i click Abort suddenly it will show the folders but i can't then transfer stuff cos i have aborted it.

Maybe it's related with CHMOD. There are some servers which you can download files from (mainly by http) but when you log into those servers by FTP you can't see any folders/files.

But these site are ones i have visited before, i know they work.

I am currently looking into my Firewall Tunnel, as i have discovered a couple of other people are having the same prob with Flashfxp and Cuteftp using the Firewall tunnel
