hi there
i am using
Flash FXP 2.0 build 900
and i'm experiencing diffculties to FXP files to a linx host called it(L B).
Normal uploading files from my machine to L B work but when i try to FXp a file from a FTP site (called it W A ) the opation just stops. ps i know WA is fxpable since i have done many fxp before to and from WA.
So i guess i;m asking to the many experts to see if there is a way to transfer file from one ftp host [WA] to a linux ftp host [LB]
here is the log.. note {ip and host name is masked due to privacy]

alt fxp doesn't work with some ftp servers, in that example that's what you are using.. we have updated v2.0 with a new alt fxp method that appears to be more compatible. I would recommend you download the updated v2.0 setup and try that.

i am using ver 2.0 build 900 and the lattest build is 902 :) . even tho if it were updated to 902 i still need a definate solution.
i was wondering is there way to hide or cheat a FXP transfer to be look like a normal direct FTP transfer?
cos there must be something different from FXP transfer(server-server) to normal FTp transfer [client to server].
and yes i have tried alt. uploading and downloading but still no sucess
i thank you for all you input and help and may FlashFXP continue to become better :D :D

there's no way to make a fxp transfer look like a normal transfer. You would need to download the file and then upload it.
