On our download page we have a full setup and a mini setup.. The mini setup was designed for modem users. It doesn't come with a help file. I was thinking, is it small enough? Do you think we should also exclude the SSL dlls? Let me know.

Removing the SSL dlls would reduce the setup by roughly 370KB.

if you will exclude those .dlls you need to make sure that user must also have up to version of them and .dll from other locations won't work..

Thats' true. We'd need to do something more then we do now when the dll's fail to load.

Honestly Bigstar, i really think dialup users can handle downloading a 1.2MB file:rolleyes:

Yeah I dont think we should take to many things out of the package...

It would cause to many people wondering why things didnt work when they upgrade, etc

I wouldn't do a cut down download for modem users.

In my experince I see them downloading FULL iso's every single day, and we are indeed talking of 650+ MB.

Ya-ya bigstar do plz a little version... beacause many-many ppl didnt need help file and ssl .dll's...
