FlashFXP userlogin

Hi all,

I want to ask about scheduled ftp transfer. Do the user who did the initial setup need to be logged in for the transfer to start? or any user that logs in regardless of who did the scheduled setup can log in and the transfer will still works. :question:

Which user are you talking about? FTP user or Windows account user?

If you are talking about FlashFXP's built-in scheduler then FlashFXP must remain open for the scheduler to trigger. Once you exist FlashFXP(such as during logout) I believe it will lose its builtin scheduler.

If you are talking using Windows' scheduler then unfortunately I have no experience with dual-user setup. :)
I think thinking of "Schedule At" feature from the Queue menu.

ok but can the scheduler run under all users or the user who initiated the first setup ?

When using the FlashFXP task scheduler (FlashFXP > main menu > Tools > Schedule) to automate re-occurring tasks; the task runs via Windows Task Scheduler using the current user who setup the task.

You can configure the task within FlashFXP to 'run only when the user is logged in' or 'run the task whether the user is logged on or not'.

After the task has been fully setup within FlashFXP, you can tweak the scheduled task properties directly via Windows Task Scheduler if required.
