View Full Version : sort by date doesnt work in v1.4

hi,

i checked the option Preferences->Display->FTP sort by->Date but unfortunately all folders and files are sorted by name. is it a known bug, or do i have to set sth else too?

The default sort is applied on startup, so unless you restarted FlashFXP after changing the value it's not going to update.

Just a simple suggestion:

Why not make it refresh when - like list after newest date. As I know CUTEFTP does that. Because its alittle to much work to restart the FLASHFXP after just change a simple listing, if I'm right or not living on the other side of the world :p

just press the button that says date, and it will sort by date without restarting

These options change the default behavior.

If you want to change the current sort order just click on the column header.

Yeah, thats what i meant by hitting the date button :)
