I have never heard of such problem with older PC's. This is very interesting. I just have one question though were the crashes random?

Has anyone else encountered problems like this?

Uh, that has to be an OSR2 bug, not one of ffxp. I've run it fine on every windows ver since V3.1.

the crash is not random, i always get this crash log:

FLASHFXP caused an invalid page fault in
module FLASHFXP.EXE at 0137:005762d2.

this occurs before flashfxp window is shown (actually immediately after i click icon).

i dont think its a windows bug, since build 800 and 851 works fine on pentium class computers using win95 osr2.
build 800 crash on 486/586 using osr2.
build 851 works fine on 486/586 using osr2.

just an fyi. since 851 works ok, hopefully future non beta builds works too.

I hope all new releases don't crash too! cos I don't have a clue as to what could have caused the problem.

according to someone i have talked to on irc, the problem with build 800 was not with flashfxp but with "telock". he did not elaborate on this, but thats what he said.
