Quick connect toolbar/box

Cuteftp has a very nice feature, it has a box where you can quickly enter a hostname (just "ftp.suse.com" e.g.) to do an anonymous default ftp connect (they also have boxes for username/password, but that's not necessary IMO).

I know flash has a quick connect hotkey, but IMHO a quick connect text input box just for the hostname is far more convenient.

What do you think? I'd love to have such feature (maybe toggable like a tool bar). Thanks :)

With the current quick connect, when poping up the default section is the host. If you dont enter a user name/ pass it will automatically use anon.

So basically FFXP does exactly what you are asking for... except it has additional options if wanted, but you dont need to use them and just connect as fast as you would with what you are suggesting.

F8 is the short cut or press the bolt then the next one down...

I dont personally, see any need to make it any more simple than it already is.
